acoustic walls

Many problems can arise from sound leaking from one area to another. The blocking of sound is almost entirely a function of the mass (or density) of the barrier between the two areas. With this in mind we have produced an acoustic wall system which incorporates multiple layers of acoustically rated sound-blocking materials, coupled with internal absorbing products which considerably limit the amount of sound that can pass between areas.

The reduction of the amount of sound that can pass between areas is fully definable from a basic transmission loss of 20dB right up to very high-performance wall systems of up to 60dB.

Acoustic Barrier Walls can be constructed over existing room divides to improve the performance of existing walls or can be totally free-standing depending on the performance required.

The size of these walls is also fully bespoke meaning that an effective and efficient wall system can be built into almost any space with very little disruption to the existing room. Also, once complete the walls can be fully finished and decorated or left prepared ready for decoration by yourself.

acoustic doors

Acoustic doors form a vital part of a complete wall system. Any acoustic barrier is only as good as its weakest link. Therefore, a good acoustic door system is of paramount importance when designing a noise control solution.

We offer a comprehensive range of acoustically rated complete door systems, available in a wide range of fully bespoke sizes and finishes including various paint types, laminates and veneers. All doors can also have vision panels incorporated into the design for safety and security and feature all required handles, locks and closers.

All doors are designed for a specific purpose and location and can be manufactured ranging in performance from 30dB to 54dB.

All of our doors are also one-hour fire rated as a minimum.

acoustic floors

Acoustic Floors also form an integral part of a complete room solution. Sound can travel through floors either as an airborne sound wave or as vibrations which pass through floors and connected wall structures into surrounding areas which then propagate as sound waves.

We offer a range of complete floor solutions as well as simple overlay systems which offer acoustic performances between 20dB and 55dB. Once an acoustic floor has been installed in can be finished in any way including ceramic tile, laminates or carpets.
